New Season Premiere!

You're going to love The New Steve & Kathy Show!
What was good just got BETTER!

With 49 Telly Awards in hand, this faith-based, one-of-a-kind TV show is STILL reaching for new heights. It's FUNNIER than ever before with a NEW FORMAT, NEW CAST and a whole new batch of rip-roaring HILARIOUS skits!

Casting KC! auditions was a first big push towards raising The Steve & Kathy Show to a new level. With a new cast of local KC talent and new writers that have grabbed hold of the vision of creator and executive producer, Steve Gray, we've got a formula for a successful TV show that can capture the attention of America - and the networks.

As a new cast member, Jeremy Woods owner of a production studio in Kansas City, is excited about the possibilities of the new show. "I love being a part of this creative process," he shares. "This has been a lot of fun - completely professional, and a COMPLETE honoring of God."

This creative process is producing a show that is non-stop FUNNY. "Sandbox Kids" opens the door to topics that adults can't touch - but kids on the playground can! "My mommy says she is fat. She want to know if Daddy thinks she is fat, too," comments one kid to another. The innocent responder says it all, "My daddy says all men need to know how to answer the fat question."

Elizabeth Goetzman, another recently added cast member describes the new show format, "I think it's definitely going to be more cutting edge, tackling some topics not usually handled in a Christian setting and putting a whole new perspective on it." Take, for example the topic of Christian dating, tackled in the "Christian Coffeehouse" skit. The scene opens in a coffee bar, with two guys scoping out the girls...

Guy 1: Hey - check out that girl over there.

Guy 2: She looks like a Baptist.

Guy 1: How can you tell she is a Baptist?

Guy 2: Because, man, she has that "assurance look" - like I'm-going-to-heaven no matter what. So... here's the plan. I will pretend to be your lost-and-bound-for-hell friend and you go ask her how to get me saved.

Guy 1: Hey, great idea!

Guy 2: Works every time...

With the new skits has come a new challenge: LOCATION! Pre-production of this new season includes an interesting array of location shootings. For the past several weeks, the production crew and cast of The New Steve & Kathy Show have been filming on location all around Kansas City! Jerry's Bait Shop, The Filling Station, a local taxi cab... YOU MAY RECOGNIZE SOME OF THESE PLACES as you watch these funny segments!

The hard work of preproduction leads up to the next LIVE TAPING of The Steve & Kathy Show, with the new season set to air the first week of September. The newness of the show extends even to the set, where construction crews have created a whole new look on stage. Expanding the set to take on a bigger cast and more live taping, they've also increased the "eye appeal" of the stage with some great textures and design... Another part of the push as we RAISE THIS SHOW TO A HIGHER LEVEL!

Steve and Kathy continue to lead the charge in bringing America this unique faith-based variety show that you will not want to miss! The hilarious fun of these new episodes continue to point out the absurdities of religion -- while pointing to the REAL presence of God. "This isn't like my grandma's Christian TV show," states one of our new cast. "This is something new and fresh... something first-time viewers will look at and think 'maybe I ought to see WHAT THIS IS!'"
