Southern comfort comedy celebrations!
Steve and Kathy Gray celebrate the South on this episode of the Emmy® award winning Steve & Kathy Show! You'll laugh, you'll cry, and you'll laugh till you're crying with our spoof on Gone with the Wind, My Big Fat Redneck Church and more comedy entertainment! Plus, we’ll take you on location with actor Stelio Savante on the set of the film “What if…”
Throw in the awesome jazzy sounds of Bryan Savage and the Steve & Kathy Band, and you've got all the funny TV you need!
Frankly, my dear, I don't...... think you'll want to miss our hilarious take on Gone With the Wind! Actor Gary Moore stopped by to play the lead role of Rhett Butler in "Gone With the Wind in 60 Seconds.” Unfortunately, we had a wardrobe malfunction with his mustache and it took tons of glue to make it stick! (Sorry about that, Gary… did you ever get all that glue off?)
The location we shot this in is an actual restored mansion, complete with creaky floors. So creaky, in fact, that we had to re-shoot a few scenes because of the excessive groans of this authentic location!
Next, Susan Boyle joins us for a special guest appearance (no -- really!) in our "My Big Fat Redneck Church." Our whole cast and crew were burping like rednecks after polishing off a whole case of root beer to supply the bottles for this skit!
If you love the South, you’ll love our "Southern Comfort." If you hear a strange accent, it’s because our S&K actor, James Galbraith just couldn’t lose his New Zealand accent in favor of a down-home Southern one! We saved the outside scene of this skit for last, to accommodate the bucket of water dumped on actor Anita Cordell! (…the things we put our actors through…!)
So, pull up a chair and set yourself down. We’ll serve you a heapin' helping of Southern comedy on this week's Steve & Kathy Show!
